Brother-In-Law Suing After Slip And Fall.

Steven Wallace has filed suit against his sister-in-law claiming that while he was a visitor at her home, he slipped and fell on discarded cellophane sustaining serious personal injuries.

According to the suit, filed on December 13th in St. Clair County Circuit Court in Illinois, Wallace was injured in a slip and fall at his sister-in-law’s home. As a guest of the home, he says he was entitled to a safe walking space and was denied that when the family left loose cellophane on the floor. Prior to the accident, the family had installed new flooring in the home, presumably leaving leftover cellophane on the floor where plaintiff was traveling. He says he tripped on the cellophane, suffering serious personal injuries. He is seeking more than $50,000 in damages from his sister-in-law.
