Last Wednesday, a 22 year-old student at Washington State University fell 11 stories from the window of a residence hall in Pullman, Washington. The student miraculously survived the fall.
A University spokesperson refused to identify the student by name, but stated that the student is a male junior. The spokesperson further explained that the student fell through branches of a pair of trees near the building and landed on soft grass.
The student appeared conscious and was able to move his limbs when the emergency crews arrived at the scene of the slip and fall accident.
A spokesperson for the Washington State University Campus Police has revealed that alcohol was not involved in the slip and fall accident.
