The popular buffet located in Kenner, Louisiana has been named in a lawsuit this past November. According to the suit, Marion Bertaut was walking back from the buffet carrying her food, when she slipped in a puddle of water and fell to the floor. She claims she suffered serious personal injuries as a result of the fall.
According to the suit, the restaurant failed to warn customers of the dangerous condition, failed to inspect and maintain the area, and failed to provide a safe area for customers by allowing a hazardous condition to exist. The plaintiff is seeking damages for medical expenses, pain and suffering, physical disability and loss of enjoyment of life.
